Such instruments include the ABI 7500, StepOne™, and the Stratagene Mx3000P® and Mx3005P® platforms. The master-mix also contains reverse transcriptase for efficient cDNA synthesis together with an optimized amount of highly engineered hotstart SensiTaq enzyme, allowing highly reproducible first strand cDNA synthesis and subsequent real-time PCR assays in one tube.
