Description
The kit provides 14-day polarized cultures of Caco-2 cells on
polycarbonate microporous filters in plates of 24 HTS transwells
of 6.5 mm diameter, 0.33 cm2 area and 0.4 µm of pore diameter (fig.
A).
An innovative conditioning media mantains the properties of
the barrier, allowing us to provide customers with a robust
screening tool.
Figure B shows confocal analysis of occludin staining
revealing tight junctions status in CacoReady™ cell barrier.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
The CacoReady™ kit consists of differentiated Caco-2 cell
barriers, shipped at day 13 of differentiation. It provides
14-day polarized cultures of Caco-2 cells on polycarbonate
microporous filters in HTS Transwell-24 well or Transwell-
96 well plates. The CacoReady™ Kit can be used up to 9 days
after its reception. After post-conditioning this
kit provides a 21-day Caco-2 barrier.
The intended use of this kit is for
